Sales Price Increase Project

Hi all,

The company has a requirement to increase the prices based on the material hierarchy codes for nearly all sold materials.

We still have the original programs in our production and test systems when the prices were originally loaded for all the materials from a text file. The plan is that we can use the load program to load the prices with the new validity dates and set the "valid to" date in VK13 for condition type PR00 for the current price list to end resulting in two records for each material, one valid and one out of the date range.

Is there a better way of doing this? Does SAP provides any functionality for price changes for finished goods? Are there any other considerations that we need to consider.

If you want to increase a price of an existing condition, just select the condition records and you can do a mass change of all the items.

You may want to do this via copy control and then you can specify the validity period of the updated conditions.

What you want to do can be done via standard SAP functionality, try it out on your test system.

could you please explain what you mean by copy control. When I tried selecting the records and press copy condition it makes me put a target material (which would be the same material, just a different price) and if the material is the same only the validity dates are different then it pops up a message saying Copying is incomplete because the records already exists.

If you already have the proces in the system then you can go in and change them with a % or an absolute amount.

This is standard SAP.

Or you can go and configure the copy control for the conditions concerned and that would also work.

Otherwise if you already have the progean then you can use it again after the changing the dates and the condtion value.

Do you mean changing the condition for each product by just typing a new price, one a time or is there a process within SAP to do it for all of them?

Could you clarify please?
