Password reset for SAp*

Hi,

I forgot the password of sAP* for client 001

I deleted the entry in the database. After deletion , i even checked whether the entry is there and it was not there

I restarted SAP, but still i could not login using sap* as user name and pass as password

Please let me know if i am missing some steps

Just a guess...please check for the parameter login/no_automatic_user_sapstar and whether it has correct value. Press F1 in RZ11 for the profile parameter for more details

Yes i missed commit

But i typed commit and pressed F5, it was showing some error

Please tell me of what is the command for commit

Hey lets try it again..

SQL> delete from <schema>.usr02 where bname = 'SAP*' and mandt = '001';

1 row deleted.

SQL> commit;

Try to login again!!!

After deletion of SAP* .. Did you miss commit?
