We did have smiles a very long time ago and people got carried away with them so we decided to remove them.

Hi.
To be honest I'm very happy we don't have picture smilies in here. I'm more the 'usenet' guy and the forums here are about information exchange. The important stuff is the text written by everyone. Too much color takes away the focus from the text to the design. Form follows function. I very much like the design we have at the moment.

I found an [SDN Coffee Corner view|http://www.netdisaster.com/go.php?mode=manif&url=https%3A//forums.sdn.sap.com/forum.jspa%3FforumID%3D255%26tstart%3D0] as well as a [custom view for Jan Stallkamp|http://www.netdisaster.com/go.php?mode=****&url=https%3A//forums.sdn.sap.com/thread.jspa%3FthreadID%3D933869%26tstart%3D0]
Have a nice weekend

That's cool! But I still prefer my good old blue and white SDN. I like posting in red from time to time and it's ok, that the mentors have their yellow icon but that's enough. I'm used to work on a green screen so a normal SAP Gui is quite colorful in my eyes. And yes: I'm really working on systems that only support green screen as a user interface.
Don't hang around in the coffee corner too much. At lease here in St. Leon-Rot weekend has not started yet
