Vl09 not possible

Hai gurus,

I have a problem in reversing a delivery in VL09.

The sceanario is PR> STO> Vl10b --> Vl02n -->Vf01

The actual problem is the PO contained 6500 order qnty but user has delivered up to 6576. He has done delivery for 40 nos and another delivery of 40 nos. Reversed one delivery with 40 nos and when tried to reverse using t.code vl09 system prompt an error

" PU( purchasing document) withdrawn quantity exceeded by 40 nos" please suggest me how to tackle this problem

we have reversed the second delivery and it worked fine for the first delivery
