hi,

Contracts are to limit a customer to buy quantities based on Value. i.e. a customer can buy only qty worth value some $ XXX.

There are 2 types of value contracts in SAP:

1) Std Value Contract WK1:

This value contract is a contract based upon total value of materials per customer. You can specify a product hierarchy or for value contracts of this type.

2) Material-Related Value Contract WK2

This value contract should be used when you need the

functionality of a value contract. However, when using this type of contract you generally restrict its use to one material. This value contract also uses a contract start and end date,

which can be different in this contract at item level than at header level.

Plz ensure U configure Copy Controls.

Relevant Item categories are: WKN( for WK1), WAN( for WK2).

To create a Contract: VA41, doc type WK1 and Order using subsequent functions: Order( V-01).
