Can any one explain me the functionality for SCOT as well as SOST Transaction??

hi,

SCOT: scot is mainly for mail server configuration.suppose u want send a pdf attchment through mail or fax.the ip address of mail,let us say GMAIL should be specified in the RFC destination of SCOT transaction.SCOT is basically used for checking whether any mails are send from sap system to other system or not

SOST:here u can see the status of the mail u send whether it has been sent or not,whether it is in ready mode ....like this it will be used.
