Hi Friends,
There are 2 exhange rate fields in the sales order, one in Header --> sales veiw and the there in Header --> accounting view. What is the difference between the two ? In my system different values are shown in these two fields .
Regards
Mahesh.
Hi Mahesh,
In Header Sales View the exchange rate is used for price Determincation.
Exchange Rate for Price Determination
The exchange rate that applies to the sales document and that the system uses to convert:
o Local currency prices (conditions) into document currency
o Document currency amounts into local currency, whenever the document values are required in local currency
And Exhange rate in Acccounting View is For FI Postings
Exchange rate for FI postings
The exchange rate that the system applies when you create an invoice.
Use
Your system is configured in such a way that it expects:
o No prefix (leading sign) for direct rates
o A "/" as prefix for indirect rates
Hopoe this will help.
Reward Point if helpful.
Thanks,
Raja
