Hi,
Is it okay to upgrade the Sap Kernel on my application servers (running on 64-bit servers) from 32-bit to 64-bit while my CI/DB (running on 32-bit server) is still running on a 32-bit Sap Kernel? Will there be certain negative implications with this scenario? The ECC 6 system is running on Windows/MSSQL platform. The reason for the sap kernel upgrade is that I'm looking to maximize the Zero Memory Administration of my 64-bit application servers.
I appreciate your inputs...
Thanks,
John
Hello John,
Its not recommended to have the CI/DB and application servers to be on different Kernels.

Siddhesh
