generating sales order

Hi Gurus,

I need to generate sales order in R/3, using order05 idoc,

the problem in sales order a new tab is added with some new feilds, now need to add those feilds into idoc,

now can any one tell me step by step what all need to do, to generate sales order, can I use that Idoc directly or I need to change it in to Z idoc,

please provide the solution.

Hi,

If The new fields avialble in standard idoc,

then no need to go for enhancement.

else, you need to enhance and import the new Zidoc.

at same time, pls load idoc meta data in 'IDX2'.

Hi,

I don't think, we will have authorizations to enhance an existing custom IDOC..

Vijaya I dont want configuration of r/3 and xi for idoc,

I am asking if there is a change in sales order (new feilds added), at that point wat I need to use, I need to have custom Idoc right. simply saying I am have new feilds in sales order, now tell me wat all I need to change and what all I need to configure (Step by Step)

hi,

These are he steps to followw..

Maintain the Sender R/3 System

Create a RFC Destination to XI using the Tcode SM59

Create a TRFC Port and specify RFC Destination created above using the TCode WE21

Create the partner profile for Inbound and Outbound Parameters using WE20

Maintain the Receiver XI System

Create the RFC Destination for sender system using SM59

Create the port to get IDOC Metadata from Sender System using the Tcode IDX1. Here the Port name we are given and port name in the IDOC header will be identical.

Maintain the IDOC Metadata using the Tcode IDX2.

Copy the standard one(orders05) into a ZIDOC..and add a new segment with all the new fields you want..

You need to do the following setting to create idoc

1. Create logical system - tcode SALE

2. Assign logical system to client - SCC4

3. Message Type - we81

4. IDOC TYPE - WE30 and We31

5. Assign IDOC type to message type - we82

6. Port - WE21

7. Partner Profile - we20

8. Customer distribution model - BD64

9. Process code - WE41 or WE42
