Article master-Basic data

Hi,

Presently in article master basic data, some of the fields like manufacturer details ..etc are hidden. Plz suggest path for checking and configuring this basic data as mandatory data in article master.

Hello,

Using transaction OMSR, find the field slection group for the field in Basic view (Tables MARA, MAW1 etc.). Go to the maintenance screen by clicking the Green arrow and select appropriate radio button.

You will have to go the customization transaction(SPRO).

You will have to check which is the article type for the article created. This can be found from using TCODE: MM43 and checking the article type from the Basic Data.

After u have identified the Article type, you will have to find the screen sequence used by this article type. For this you will have to go to SPRO - Logistics General - Material Master - Configuring the Material Master - Assign Screen Sequence to User/Article Type/Transaction/Industry Sector".

Find the name of the Selection group.

Use TCODE: OMSR

Select the Field you would like to activate

Press on the Green Arrow on the right

Select the property"Display, Optional, Required Entry".
