SGEN AND CLIENT

HI ALL,

IN WHICH CLIENT IT IS BEST TO RUN THE SGEN..

CAN ANYONE PL. GIVE INPUT ABOUT PROS AND CONS IF ANY OF RUNNING SGEN

IN 000 AND NON 000 CLIENT ...

I've run this both in 000 and a standard client and have not seen any noticeable difference in the outcomes.

Hi Ishan,

Well client won't make too much difference to SGEN performance as it generates repository objects which have normally nothing to do with client as such. However 000 is preffered one. Also SGEN in 000 would cover all standard SAP forms which inspite of being repository have a client dependence factor.Other than that I can't think why a particular client should be preffered for SGEN.
