Hi!

With respect to the Business process of your client you can go for mapping of 2 Sal Org. If the client is dealing with two different businesses completly then you can go for 2 Sal org. Othwer wise one is enough and dist chn you can have many.

Hello,

As everybody said, it depends upon the business process. In manufacturing industries, you can have different sales organisation for different business processes. One can be classified as manufacturing and another is distribution. From the manufacturing plants/sales org the sqles can happen to OEMs and from the distribution plant/sales org the sales can happen to the customers. This is a scenario where we can have more than one sales orgs.

Hi,

It depends on how the business is being handled. There may be a vice president level person over looking the activities of a sales org. So one or more sales org is a question which needs to discussed with the client. However as far as mapping goes you can put one sales org also to meet your requirement. But it may be suggestable to have different sales org for domestic/ exports since the nature of activity is totally different.

Dear Rahul

Sales Organization can be one but have different Distribution Channels for exports, domestic and stock transfer and accordingly, different pricing procedure for these distribution channels.

thanks
