Enterprise Service Builder address not maintained

Hello All,

We have installed PI 7.0 and followed the SAP NW 07(SR3 ABAP+JAVA (linux& oracle) .

1>When I try to execute the transaction :SXMB_IFR , the home page of PI is not executed and it shows the error as Enterprise Service Builder address not maintained .

2>But I can enter into home page of PI via url "http://<server>:<j2ee-port>/rep .

3>When I execute SLDCHECK trans , the url of SLD is opening with our any problem, but at the abap part it is showing the error as

Testing the RFC connection to the SLD java client...

RFC ping returned exception with message:

timeout during allocate / CPIC-CALL: 'ThSAPCMRCV' : cmRc=20 thRc=456#Timeout dur

Can anyone guide me to fix this problem , and did I miss any thing in configuration part ?

Hello All,

Thanks for your update .

The problem got fixed by performing below steps

1>I have not configured properly the ABAP+JAVA rfc connections in proper way .

For connections LCRSAPRFC, AI_DIRECTORY_JCOSERVER while registering I have selected

the option "Start on application server" instead of "Registered Server program "..

2>At the step of Maintaining Business system to the Integration Engine Client , Instead of maintaining

http://<servername>:<httpport>/sap/xi/engine?type=entry , I have maintained as http://<servername>:<j2eeport>/sap/xi/engine?type=entry

Once after correcting these entries both SLDCHECK and trans: SXMB_IFR is working fine .

Hi Rakesh,

Me too did the same mistake and breaking my head for a day..by choosing wrong activation type "Start on application server" instead of right activation type "Registered Server program " in RFC destination LCRSAPRFC.
