Hi All,
Good day.
When I try to deploy my Webdynpro application in Server
Its giving the following error.Can anyone please tell me
what might be the problem.
Dispatcher , SDM,Server everything is running.but still some exception is coming.
I configured SAP J2EE Engine.in Windows - preference - SAP J2EE engine - I've given hostname and port number of system where server is installed.
see the exception.

But you should have service market place UserId and password.
Try this solution.
This problem can be fixed without any code changes, just by adding of a corresponding record to the file %WINDIR"/system32/drivers/etc/hosts on the IDE host, so that the remote host short name is known to the local host.

I have exactly the same problem.
I am reading that I have to change something in my hosts file, but nobody tell what I have to change...:-((
I have no access to the SAP notes, so I cannot go and read the solution there....

Hi,
Please check the following
1. In Windows Preferences -> Message Server Host: <your host>
and Message Server Port: 3601
2. If you have connected to SDM through RemoteGui then please disconnect it.
