fetching Mettler weighed ornament in SAP

Hi,

The Mettler (weighing machine) will weigh the gold. How to interface this with SAP & capture the weight the ornament in SAP database.

We can see the weight of this ornament through Start>All Programs>Accessories>Communications>Hyper Terminal. I was told that this we weight is stored in OS(operating system) Port(COM3 or COM2 or COM1). How to fetch this OS Port data from SAP?

Hi.

I would not try and capture this data direct with xMII because of the time constraint and because xMII it not designed for this task.

I would use some tool like e.g. Omniserver which is able to capture and translate serial data as you describe. Then I would store these in a local database and use xMII from there.
