Rloe of ABAPer In DMS

hi, all

I want know, In which activity the ABAPer is needed related to DMS. I mean we could suggest this is ABAPer work like?

please give some area's of abaper work at DMS.

When standard functions are not met then abaper are required to set it

Like while creating document using cv01n, in object link we give the link to material master or PO and if we need that HR fuctionality should also be there as a link then at that stage abaper is does the development and prepares the screen for it

Hi Rajesh,

In DMS implementation an Abap consultant could be required for following activities:

1. Development/ Implementation of BADIS for obtaining customised document numbering, authorisation check, customisation in additional data screen etc

2. Workflow development.

3. Writing programs ( BDC / BAPIS ) for uploading the existing DIR ( document info records ).
