For non-SAP applications, many customers are used to having a DBA administer a single server with many applications running on it. For a small or mid-size company, will SAP support an installation with a single large standalone database server serving many systems (dev bi, qasbi, and prdbi) as well as other systems? All of the literature points to a single database server for each system.
