Hi,

Mapping Trace

*****************

This object enables to transfer message to the mapping trace if the trace level set correspondingly

then the trace is visible to message monitoring.

Trace Level

*************

The parameter Trace level enables you to logically set the trace level for all pipelines in an

Integration engine, to show the error/success messages.

The trace levels 0 to 3 are associated with the trace levels info, warning, and debug

0 - no trace

1-addwarning

2-addWarning()and addInfo()

3-addWarning()and addInfo()and addDebugMessage().

For the production system we set the tacelevel 1, For quality system we set the trace level 3, because

we should perform test in the maximum ways.

Read from 11 page onwords.

By default it value is 1.

For Trace level settings :

SXMB_ADM --> Double click on the "Integration Engine Configuration" --> Select category as RUNTIME

and click on "Specific Configuration" button --> Here we got TRACE_LEVEL parameter there in Current

Value option is there here we can set the value from 0 to 3. All users may not have this Authentication.

Thanks

We use t-code u2018SXMB_MONIu2019 to monitor the messages (Successful/Waiting/Error) in ABAP stack of XI Box. But sometimes the trace messages are not elaborate enough.

So during development these can be fixed by increasing the Trace Level in t-code u2018SXMB_ADMu2019. Ideally TRACE_LEVEL should be 3 and LOGGING should be 1.

But for production system TRACE_LEVEL should be 3 otherwise it would flood the XI database.

Hi,

This is absolutely based on Message Monitoring with Pipeline Trace level.

It gives more information about Message Processing.

Configuration:

Sxmb_adm > follow Integration Engine Configuration

Levels:

0 No trace

1 Low

2 Medium

3 High

Thanks,

Tracing rewrites functions that help developers to recognize errors and solve problems.

Hi,

The Trace is required to monitor the detail log of Messages from start to end.

hi swarup,

then what is the trace in SXMB_MONI

Hi Harsha,

In SXMB_MONI, you can see the message status, but the details of each steps could be able to see if you have set the Trace level.

So in SXMB_MONI, Monitoring of messages depends upon the Trace level you had set in SXMB_ADM.

Thanks
