Client copy question

In order to create a duplicate/clone the system I installed the central and database instances on two diffrent Boxes,I was trying first Homegenous Copy in Distributed Environment but it didn't work.

know i am looking for remote cleint copy ,Both the instances have same names.Will it work properly

Is there any other method avialable,In order to port everything form one system to other

Hello,

Client copy is not the best method. Because, before client copy, you must install target system. What was the homogeneous copy problem? May be we can solve it.

You can have your target system refresh with backup and restore method.Take one offline backup of your source system and restore it into your target system.
