thanks
manian
Hi,
UOM stands for Unit Of Measurement
Field of type Real to which a measurement unit is attached. MDM currently supports more than 750 units of measurement and allows simple conversion from one unit to another. For user-defined units of measurement beyond the standard ones, the application MDM standard ones, the application MDM Unit of Measure Manager (UOM) can be used.
Purpose: The MDM UOM Manager is a separate MDM application that allows you to create and manage a list of user-defined physical dimensions and units of measure for an MDM repository (which augment the built-in dimensions and units) and also to override some of the elements that comprise the definition of built-in dimensions and units (such as the unit suffix and fraction display).
