Hello Folks,
I have a question.
We have SP15 on solution manager 4.0
We have noted that we can create milestones for a project in SOLAR_PROJECT_ADMIN...however the Roadmap (RMMAIN), does not show the milestones.
Why is that? Is normal or is this a bug and needs a patch?
Points will be awarded.
Regards
Dan
So you can only add milestones to a project if it's through RMDEF.
There's no adding a milestone to a project to a predefined roadmap? Is that correct?

Hi Daniel,
The milestone you selected in SOLAR_PROJECT_ADMIN will not be reflected in Roadmap RMMAIN.
For creating your own roadmap you have to follow the steps.
1. Call transcation RMDEF and create your own Project roadmap.
2. Now come back and call transcation RMAUTH.
3. Select the node under which you want to create milestone.
4. Right click on the node and select "create node at same level" from the menu to create a new node at same level.
5. You will be prompt with a screen "create node at same level".
6. In the Node type field Click on drop down list to open menu.
7. Click on "Milestone"
8. Enter the name of the Milestone in Nodes field.
9. Click Enter.
10. Click Save.
Reward points if helpful.

Vinod Palli

Hi Daniel,
Generally, In SOLAR_PROJECT_ADMIN you select roadmap in scope tab.
then the milestones maintained for that roadmap would appear.
You can define your own roadmap in RMDEF
