MATMAS Idocs

Hi All,

I want to know that is it possible to generate material with classification using IDOC MATMAS05.

if it is possible can nay one tell me which is the segment /feilds to map.

Or we have to use some other IDOC interfaces along with MATMAS to upload the classification, varients and characteristics data.

hi,

You can use this BAPI_OBJCL_CREATE_KEY to create a material with classfication Tab..

Is there is no possiblity is doing it with IDOCS ?

there are standard classification idocs available CLFMAS01. Does any one aware about this?

I am not looking for the feild in IDOC Matmas05 to post MATERIAL but i need to past materials with classification (Classes & Charateristsics )

not looking for tax classification.

Hope any one can help me out

Hi,

you can use the IDOC type matmas05.You have to Map the ssegments which are mandatory.In WE30 you give the idoc type and check the mandatory segments by clicking on the segment.

To check the segment definition goto WE31.You can check the fields under each segment.
