how i can use d transaction SM30....

suppose i want to create planner group or activity type through SM30 rather directly through customization so through which view/table i could maintain dis...

To use SM 30, first create table maintenance generator for table thru se11 .then u can use sm30

Hi,

It is not advisable to mainatian a direct entry in table. It is better to do the things in proper way so that an entry will get created in the corresponding table.

To create an activity type go to KL01 and assign secondary cost element to that. During creation of secondary cost element it should have the category 43. After successful creation of activity type go to KP26 and for combination of costcenter we have to maintain cost.

i mean how to use this SM30 trans.or how we maintain our tables through dis transaction....suppose v maintain our activity type field in M.Plan den how to maintain by dis SM30...
