Customer number range

Hi all ,

while creating a customer the number range is not following sequential order ,number range assigned is internal.

It is some thing like 1,2,3,7,8,9,5,10,11,12,6,13,14u2026

What could be the reason u2026??? Could some one help me

Hi Gautham,

this happend to me in one of my implimentation projects. But i cldnt able to fix the problem. Sorry.....

HI,

This is due to the buffer attached to your number range objects. Go to the transaction SNRO give the object DEBITOR (this is for customer master) and display. you will see field 'no of numbers in buffer' make it 0, now your numbers will not skip. if you assign buffer numbers will skip.

Yes, if u make the buffer 0, Your numbers will not skip.

Hi Gautham,

Are you creating more than one customer at a time? i mean by same user name, is there more than one person logged in and creating customers. if yes, then this may be the reason.

but here it like 20010612,20010613,20010585,20010614......20010608

one check could be: check with ur BASIS consultant to clear the buffer.

even if the customers is created by Multiple users ,it should take in sequence ,it is not happening ..
