Hi there,
I've setup Solman 4.0, and gotten to the part where EWA reports should be processed by solman, this is where a shortdump occurs.
As received from SAP support:
replace the Service Definitions in your SAP Solution Manager
system as described in SAP Note 727998.
Step 1:
Run report BDL_DELETE_ALL_TABLES via SE38 to delete all entries
in the service definition tables
Step 2:
Execute a 'Refresh service definitions' task session in transaction
SDCCN ->Task ->Create ->'Refresh service definitions'
Step 3:
Execute in transaction SE37 the function module "BDL_GENERATE_LOGFUNC
_INCLUDES" and enter the value "ALL" in the 'OPTION' field.
In addition:
As of SAP Solution Manager 7.0 (= 4.0) Support Package Stack 15 (which
includes ST-PI 700_2005_1 SP06) you can trigger the required steps
within transaction SDCCN:
Menu Utilities -> Maintain Service Definitions ->
Select 'Delete and Replace Service Definitions -> Confirm this
selection-> Confirm that you want to delete the definitions -> Confirm
that a new task 'Service Definition Refresh' was created
Take a note of the task id -> Review the log for this task id when it
is completed. You should not see any errors for either the update
of a Service Definitions table or the generation of any re-import
include.
Reschedule SM:EXEC SERVICES and the reported dump will no longer
occur. "
i have done the above mentioned, except when i try and run the SM:EXEC SERVICES again, the same short dump occurs...

If anyone can advice me on this error, it will be greatly appreciated.
Hi Stephan,
you might consider replying to SAP support that the solution they suggested didn't seem to work.
If you used the second method, did you see any errors in the logs in SDCCN?
best regards,
-David.

Hi David
Yes, I did log a call with SAP again, the previous shortdump that i received during this phase (RDSVASAABAP_TRANS__________049) was sorted out with updating the support stacks, but now I'm still having the issue, different program it seems...
Also when i try to create a EWA for Solman itself, the same short dump occurs, so it is not a problem with the remote systems (their test connections etc works perfectly, both ways)
No errors received during #2 above
