error in sales order

hi friends

i am trying to create sale order i got the error like: No customer master record exists for sold-to party xxxx

i have checked that customer master excists for the customer and what is the solution for this

Hi,

Check whether the partners functions exits for that sold to party.

Go to xd02sales areapartner functions

If not there assign them manually if it allows. otherwise go to partner determination procedure for that account group and make it properly.

don't forget to assign partner functions to account group separately even though they are there in partner determination procedure.

Hi Srini,

Go to XD 02 and check whther u have assigned any sales area or not. If yes then go to VOR1 and VOR2 For maintaining the common distribution channel and common division.

again check the partner functions for ur customer under partner tab. This comes automatically from account group. if u r not using default accont group then check ur account group.
