How to update the Existing UDF in marketing document lines

Hi,

I have created one UDF in the Marketing Document Lines (U_BPProj) with one valid value ("-","-").

While i am trying to add the additional Valid values to this udf through DI API then the system give "ref count for this object is higher than 0" Error message.

Can any one tell me how to add the Valid values to the existing UDF in the marketing document lines.
