R/3 ECC4.7 IDES Installation

Hi Gurus,

I am trying to istall IDES 4.7 IDES with Oracle 9i, In Phase Start SAP system ( Post Processing) error FJS-00012 ( unable to get value for environment HOME) please help me.

Hi Mr Kumar,

you need to set the JAVA_HOME environment variable in your variables.

How to -->

right click on My computer -> properties -> advanced -> Environment variables ->

Click new in the system variables -> enter JAVA_HOME in variable name and enter your java path where you installed.

edit PATH variable and in the last enter the " ;java bin path"

and save the variables

to test enter into the command prompt enter javac or java.

if you get the output your installation will continue.

Hi Praveen,

Java set had been done... this error happened before RFS phase. java returning values.... please help me...

Hi Praveen,

Thank you very much for your help, I have completed installation successfully. now I am facing problem in transprot.

whenever I do changes in SAP it is prompting me for customizing request.I dont want to enter mannually pleae tell me how to solve this problem. and please tell me the initial configuration.

go to scc4>click on change>select the client--->select the option

changes w/0 automatic recording,no transpotes allowed

kumar,

Don't change anything on 000 client. create a new client and you can do the modifications on newly created client.

Keep this options for 000 client

1.) Client role - SAP Reference

2.) Changes and Transport for Specific clients -> No Changes Allowed

3.) Cross Client -> No changes to repositiry

For the newly created client

1.) Client Role - Except production and SAP reference ( depends on your requirement)

2.) Changes and Transport for Specific clients -> Changes w/o automatic recording, no transports allowed

3.) Cross Client -> No changed to repositiry - > Changes to repository

Hi Experts,

I have installed sap 4.7ee in my laptop, i am logging into sap easy acess through client 800. but the problem is in the easy acess what ever the t/code i type, i am getting the messege as

you are not authorized use transaction

i tried different t/codes in like spro , vao1 etc whate ever the tcodes i am using i am getting same messege that

you are not authorized to use this transaction.

pls help me

Hi kumar:

Login to 800 Client.

Use Tcode: SU01 -> enter the user name which u use ex: SAPUSER

and change.

Go to the profiles Tab: and enter SAP_ALL and SAP_NEW and press enter and save.

Now you should be able to use all transactions.

after the installation you have to do the after installation procedures. try to TMS configuration. try to check user profile in SU01..

Even if i type su01 i am getting the same messege that

you are not authorized to use transaction SU01

yes i am able to login DDIC & SAP*

Once you are able to login to SAP* goto TCODE : SU01 and goto change mode -> goto profiles tab -> add these 2 profiles SAP_ALL and SAP_NEW.

and save it. now you should be having all the access.

Hi Praveen Bheemar,

I have logged onto client 000 and user : ddic and passward xxxxx

i used t/code su01 and entered use : ddic whento change mode, clicked on profiel tab there are messege are there

s_user_all all authorizations for user and authorization Maintenance

SAP_ALL [ Copy yell symbol] all sap system authorizations

SAP_NEW [ same as above] New Authorization checks

i saved it

but still not autorized to the transactions.

Venkatesh,

You are having the problems in 800, so you need to login to 800 client with DDIC or SAP*, since all the users are client dependent.

Once you logged as DDIC or SAP* in 800 client you need to give the authorisations(SAP_ALL, SAP_NEW) for any user which you are using.

I did the same thing logging into 800 client with user name as

DDIC and i made changes as in profile taba SAP_ALL AND SAP_NEW & saved it.

but no results,

but still not authorized to use any transactions
