i can't activate the new abap editor

hi everybody

i have sap gui 7_10 with patch level 8, but i can't found the option to activate the new abap editor.

only appear two options:'

- Editor back end

- Editor front end

any idea about why?? or how make this option.

hi, thanks for u reply but i know all this, the problem is that the option NOT appears in Utilities > Settings.

any idea about what? repeat my version of sap gui es 7.10 with patch level 8

Hi,

it's not just the frontend (i. e. GUI) that has to meet the requirements (>= 6.40 PL10), the backend has to be at least Netweaver 7.0 too.

I'm repeat to : if your backend < SAP Netweaver 7.0
