To follow on from RRK's response, contract catalogs may also be enriched by Supplier catalog data, however, please be aware that the enrichment search is complete once the FIRST enrichment is found, so you may find if there are several possible Supplier Catalogs your Catalog gets enriched by the 'wrong' one

Just to advise you to keep an eye on this!!

Hi Jason,

We are not getting Contract data enrichment automatically.

Steps we followed are,

1. Create of contract with flag Distribute to Catalog

2. Contract relased

3. Check the EDIT catalog and found contract catalog

4.Check to Master catalog and found that no data has been updated for respective product category through enrichment.

5. Tried to map manually contract catalog to Master catalog but still data is not getting updates from contract to master catalog.

Why this is happening, any idea?

Also which all various fileds are getting picked up from contract to contract catalog,

Our understanding is 1. contract number 2. contract item 3. vandor number 4. vendor number descritpion 5. price from contract

But we are getting only contract number, contract item, vendor number and price.

Why we are not getting vendor discription in this?

Thanks,

Hi

CCM receives the following data from SRM during contract catalog creation:

Contract data from Enterprise Buyer contains only the items themselves, the contract ID, the contract item number, and (in the case of material group contracts) the material group. All other fields are empty.

Enrichment works, as defined in SAP Help, in the following manner:

When you transfer a contract to SAP Catalog Content Management, the system compares the items in the contract with supplier catalogs and SRM product catalogs that already exist in SAP Catalog Authoring Tool. If an item in the contract is the same as an item in an existing supplier catalog or SRM product catalog, SAP Catalog Contract Management automatically:

Copies the additional values available in the supplier catalog or SRM product catalog to the contract catalog

Maps the contract information for the item to the master catalog, if the corresponding item in the supplier catalog or SRM product catalog has been assigned for mapping

Once the contract catalog has found an enrichment source it extends the contract classification schema to include the categories it has found in the source catalog, only when this is done can the contract catalog be mapped to the Master.

Hi,

To begin with ,to upload contracts to catalog XI is required. Contracts are distributed to CCM once 'Distribute contract to catalog' is selected in contract creation. Now once this is complete the contract catalog must be enriched with SRM extracted data before it can be 'used'.
