Dear WM Gurus,

I am having a doubt, how inventory can be carried out for Inactive Inventory Document.

There is a whole flow to the logic of DCC .. here is how it works...

The first check for DCC is - Is there an inactive inventory document - (not discussing no scenario) if yes - perform DCC.

Second check is - Are there any Differences?

If yes - Creation of further TO's is blocked for the bin ? (this is set in customizing for DCC) - if YES (***see at the end of the msg what happens when this customizing is not set and the answer is NO)

It blocks the bin

Then it checks any more open TO's for the bin .... if the answer is NO...

Then it checks if there are differences in DCC --- if NO --> Document automatically activated and then you can make settings in customizing if automatic clearing is allowed. if yes - count results are cleared.

if there are differences in DCC --- if YES --> Document to be activated automatically (can be set in customizing) if set in customizing - document activated automatically ---> wait for active inventory to be counted --- theis is where normal inventory count will be triggered.

if NOT set in customizing - document activated automatically ---> then wait for document to be activated ---> wait for active inventory to be counted --- theis is where normal inventory count will be triggered.

• from above ----- At TO confirmation - check if it is the last TO being confirmed and whether inactive doc exist ... i.e. open TO's need to be confirmed....

Please if you can explain in detail with some numbers , examples ..actual scenario into consideration..

Hi,

you can only carry out inventory for inactive inventory document if your inventory document is active it will throw an error.

t-code is MICN.
