Difference between VBELN & VBELV

HI all,

Can any body tell me the diffrence between VBELN & VBELV.

Here which one is sales order number and delivery number.

Hi!

Check out VBFA table, it contains the link between the 2 documents (order and delivery).

However you can't say, VBELV is always order, because a delivery could be in the VBELV field also if the VBELN is an invoice.

You always have to check the type of these fields also (VBTYP_N and VBTYP_V).

I am new to ABAP so Can you plz explain what am i supposed to check in vbtyp_n and vbtyp_v ????

In vbtyp am i supposed to check F5 and F* for proforma invoice??? something like this??

vbeln is document number presented in sales document header(vbak), likp etc....

vbelv is Originating document presented in lips table u can refer

hoope its helps u.
