invisible client data MAM30

hi all,

we want to use MAM30:

Backend: ERP 2005

Middleware: NW2004s (MI 7.0) SP 15

Client: MI 70 SP 15 Patch 1, DB2e, XMAM30_LAPTOP_SR05

our problem is, that we cannot see any data in the XMAM30 - application.

but: with http://localhost:4444/XMAM30_LAPTOP_SR05/start_full.jsp we can see that there are data in the client - database.

there are orders, notifications , and so on, they seem to be ok.

090 - usercustomizing has one TOP but no items

after two days of reading notes and threads we have no idea how to solve this problem

maybe one of you can help us?

thanx!

Hi,

please go to the backend - open transaction SPRO - drill down to the MAM settings - and go to the user customizing. Check if this user has a propper customizing. If there is just a header but no data - then MAM095 is empty as well I guess. In that case this is the explanation.

Please be aware to replicate MAM090 and MAM095 again after you change relevant settings in SPRO.

Reason: MAM checks if user has porpper customizing. If he does not have propper customizing, the client displays onle the two menu bars to customize the client - but not the ones to see the data - even if data is available on the client like in your case.

Setting the correct customizing in SPRO for the user should solve the issue.

Hope it helps!

hi oliver,

you have been wright - we had problems with replicating MAM090 and MAM095.

the reason was not wrong customizing in the backend but missing items in MAM090. after one day of debugging to look for the reason and finally re-changing MAM090 to T01 (we had changed it to t51 before) it works no.

thank you very much for your answer, it was very helpfull !

Bernhard,

Couple of things you can try:-

1. Can you see the data when you execute the GETLIST wrapper from your backend?

2. Also its necessary to install Db2E before xMAM installation.

3. Can you see the data in your middleware after you sync in merep_mon transaction?

4. Try restting the client data and sync once again.....

hi chintan,

thank you for reply!

1. Can you see the data when you execute the GETLIST wrapper from your backend?

yes, we get data ie with MAM30_001_GETLIST ....

2. Also its necessary to install Db2E before xMAM installation.

yes, we did install db2 before xmam - using a sequence-number

3. Can you see the data in your middleware after you sync in merep_mon transaction?

yes, we see data with merep_mon, there are no errors.

4. Try restting the client data and sync once again.....

we did - doesnt help

we see data in the folder C:\Programme\SAP Mobile Infrastructure\data and we see data with the link

http://localhost:4444/XMAM30_LAPTOP_SR05/start_full.jsp

in the client trace we see some actions for "User: (SHARED)" - maybe this is wrong?

i'm not sure what the right settings in MCD should be ...

please reply if you have any more ideas, thanx a lot!
