Hi Durga Suresh,

It is through report 'RSALERTTEST' , and mandatory parameters should be given while testing alerts

is give the name of the Alert Category here.

SLG1 is the transaction that is used to monitor all Trace Staement of your alerts. It will also contain info like when an Alert was triggered, the recipeient of the alert etc.

In ALRTCATDEF you would need to select option Write Log for this.

ST22 contains only error dumps, SLG1 is similar to MoNI . To understand what alert was triggered etc.

Note 913858 gives you some troubleshooting tips like using reports RSALERTTEST and RSALERTDISP to test your alerts

Hello Durga,

Have u created Alerts??

If yes then u can send a wrong payload or something like this bcoz of which ur message will fail in SXMB_MONI.

then u can u can an Alert in Alert Inbox in RBW.

If u hv not created Alert yet then go thr this:

Hi,

RSALERTTEST --- Test report for testing alerts

This report only functions on the central alert management server. You can send alerts with this report, however, not via RFC. It does not test the connections from local systems to central alert server.
