SAPDBA can not be upgraded after 6.20 as brtools has been introduced from kernel 6.40.

Hi,
Kernel 6.40 comes with BRTOOLS. there is no SAPDBA in kernel 6.40.
But, after you upgrade the kernel,t 6.40 you can still use SAPDBA, 6.20 as long you stay with oracle 9i.
When you upgrade to oracle 10g, you will have to use BRTOOLS

check Note 19466 - Downloading SAP kernel patches
also check following notes
