Convert weight

Hi,

We have one material (in USA plant)i.e is maintained with weight unit as LB. Now we are extending this material to a different plant in Europe country.

Our requirement is when people login in Europe, they want to see the weight unit as KG and if the people login in USA, they want to see as LB..

Is there any way we can maintain 2 different weight units for the same material which is extended to plants belong to 2 different countries.

Any help is appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Hello Archana.

Believe it needs devepment to fullfil this requirement. U may try this simple way at least the system can have the exchange rate between those two weight units. Then, people need to check MM if they want to know "LB".

MM02 > select "additional data" > select "units of measure"

Hello Archana.

Actually, manual eyeball check. U know, it seems the system is not so smart to automatically show the required weight unit according to the different access regions. In one word, if u want to know other weight units, pls manually check MM.
