Dear Gurus,
During the consignment pickup, we pick up the defective parts from customer location. How do I move this picked stock to blocked stock. I do not want this to b included in unrestricted stock.
Regards,
Sanjay

Hi,
Create a new schedule line. Associate it with any of the following movement types based on the requirnment:
655 GD returns QI
656 GD returns QI rev.
657 GD returns blocked
658 GD returns blk. rev.
This would ensure that ure requirnment is achived.

Hello,
yes.. you can use 655 to move it to Blocked stock from returns. As you know the movement types should be associated with Schedule line category. So you need to make the movement type as 655 in shcedule line category E0 or E1.

Dear Sanjay
Have a seperate schedule line category in VOV6 and assign movement type 655. By doing so, whenever you do returns (PGR), stock will be posted for QI.
thanks

Use consignment returns and move it to restricted stock. This is the standard SAP way through SD cycle.
However you can also move this through MM inventory management which is not advisable.
