Daer Experts,
I m trying to configure Alert and in the Long Text, I want to pass the value of an element in the pay load.
What I believe that, I have to create a container variable .
I think that while creating container variable, under D.TYPE Tab, the radio button "Object Type" is to be selected and Object Type should be "XML OBJECT TYPE" . When I m clicking on F4 button,I am getting a list of Objects. How I'll include mine in the list?
Pls let me know, is there any other way to do?
Please give some solution.
Hi,
I do not think we can add our own container variables in the alert text. only SAP predefined Container variables could be used in this case. This is as per my knowledge only.

Hi VJ,
Thanks for the reply.
Pls make me understand, if such a scope is not possible, why SAP has provided the facility to create the Container element.
While trying in my Server, I am able to find other user defined Interfaces and the elements under the payload structure, but dont know how it came.
Hi Navneet,
<<<Pls make me understand, if such a scope is not possible, why SAP has provided the facility to create the Container element.>>>>
Container variables are provided by SAP to access the Runtime variables such as the Message ID, Sender system, Interface etc. I hope its clearer now.

You can also create your own container variables, but that is in case of BPM.

Sanjeev.

check these too..

I don't think we need to create container variables...we can make use of the existing ones.
Thanks,
Vijaya.
