Are access function modules automatically created by the EEWB?

Hi all,

I used the "Easy Enhancment Workbench" (EEWB) to add some custom fields to table BUT000 and to the BP transactions (fpp1/2/3). That all worked well. Now I want to access these new fields from within ABAP programs.

Of course I can read and write from/to the fields directly via SQL commands, but it would be nicer via special purpose function modules. So my question: Do you know if the EEWB automatically creates such function modules to access custom fields?

I have found this link:

It tells something about "Integration with the Business Partner Dialog": "Function modules for data processing (API for reading, creating, changing, and deleting data)". But I can't find anything I am really looking for.

Any ideas?
