Generate seq. number in Header of file .

Hi experts

I have a Idoc to File scenario.

Now I want when file is placed in the server its header should have the seq. no. in one of the fields of Header.

i tried using counter but it always remain 1.

Any suggestion how can i generate seq. no for the files.

I have pi 7.0 sp09 right now.

Counter function will return you the number of occurence of the node in the message.

Can you explain your requirment more clearly?
