How to use Wild card in applicatin made by VC7.1.

I use Visual Composer 7.1 on CE7.1.

Now, I want to use a wild card on my application whichi is made by BI Query.

In VC7.1, Is it possible to use a wild cald on runtime?

If it possible, please teach me how to configure.

Generally for BI systems we work with the variables..no wildcards...

this thread explains abt the wild card in 7.0

*but on discussion with my colleague i found this ,

try if it works*

you can have a filter from the data service instead of a table

in the filter, provide the condition

"define an operator to the filter as "Field to be filtered;Condition(ie., contains/sarts with/ ends with; expression=Form's inputField"and drag out this to a table

have a button in the form below input field to trigger the event to the bapi
