Printing German, Arabic Characters in ECC 5.0

Hello,

I have several sap scripts which outputs german and arabic text. I could see all these characters in the Print Preview screen. But when I fire the actual print out the hard copy on the paper does not print the german/arabic characters.

Do any one have come across this issue?

Can any one give me the conceptual background of this character printing in SAP.

Hi,

Actuallly some Fonts which are used in SAP may not me there in Printer Drivers,

So at times in print preview , You can see those characters, But are not there in Printer drivers. So while printing it is not able to convert into print format.

This is not the issue of SAP . But it printer problem.

So it is not printing in your case.

Hi,

Please check with the printer type and its chractersitics like drives.

Take the spool and convert to PDF with program RSTXPDF and check.

If possible check with other printer.

Ask the printer type and search in google for their characteristics.
