NWDS - Portal Service from Wsdl file - Client Side

Hello,

Since upgrading NWDS from 2.0.16 to 2.0.21, the template/wizard to create a u201CPortal Web Serviceu201D -> u201CPortal Service from Wsdl file - Client Side" is no longer available when creating a new Portal Application object...I need to re-import an updated version of the WSDL file, and no longer have this option to do so in v21...Without having to revert back to v16 is there a 'new' or alternate way to import/update the WSDL file?

please have a look at note 1131393 Portal Web Services wizard from 14.01.2008:

Symptom

The PRT SOAP Framework is deprecated as a result the Portal Web Services wizard is not available on the Netweaver Developer Studio.

Reason and Prerequisites

NW04 SP15 and higher.

NW04s SP6 and higher.

Solution

To consume a web service -> Creata a deployable or a standalone proxy.
