J2EE License at UNIX Level

Hi,

Is it posible to check the J2EE license at OS level (J2EE 7.0 Portal on UNIX).

Is it possible to implement the J2EE license from OS without goint to VisAdmin (in-case VisAdmin is not accissible).

Please let me know.

Hi

I think there is not any option to install J2EE License using command prompt.

Please specify exactly what u r getting in error using Visual Admin.

Thank you for the reply.

Our sand box is down on AIX. I forgot to update the temp license and the temp is expired. This error is visible in log files in /work directory.

VisAdmin will not start w/o J2EE.

How should I proceed.

- stop the engine

- start it again

- it will run for 30 minutes before it shuts down automatically

- start visual admin and install the license
