Error getting while creating table in dictionary, please help

Dear sirs,

I have created a java dictionary in netweaver. I have to create a table with more than 64 fields in it. I can create the table in dictionary. But when i tried to build it, I am not able to build it. If i create the table with 64 fields or below 64 fields, i can build the dictionary and deploy it.

That is, when i create a table with more than 64 fieds, I am not able to compile the dictionary, But if i reduce the fields to 64 or below, i can compile the dictionary.

Kindly help me to solve the problem.

Hi Sudeesh,

could it be you're trying to index all fields? The limit for fields should be much higher (749). But indexes are lower. This comes from limitations of databases we support.

Dear sir,

Thak you very much for your response. When i added the fields, i created it with only adding the name and type of the field. I didn't do anything to set index.

Is the index set to a field by default? Or should we assign it explicitly?

I checked in the dictionary creation; I have created no indexs at all.

The index tab is blank...

I am using the 180 days trial version of the netweaver sneack preview. It it because of this?

Can you guess what could be the fault?
