hi experts,
In which case(scenario) can i directly go with integation directory(ID) with out integation repository(IR) ? please explain clear scenario with step?

Hi,
Yes it is possible. We use the repositiory part for the transformation of the message. In case you do not need the message to be transformed, just to be picked up and transported to the destination you need not configure the repository. Refer to the blog provided above.

Hi,
You can do that definitely where your receiver system takes care of transformation.the message or document sent through XI does NOT have to be in XML format.It can be EXE, ZIP, PDF, Word, Excel, etc.
for example suppose u have to just transfer a file from one location to other as it is and ur there isnt any mapping involved, then u can directly configure the ID steps without any IR config.
