BP Manintenance

Dear gurus,

I have a basic doubt on BP maintenance.

In solman BPs maintained with respect toour quality server called QAD

with client 300

Now we are going to do testing in 330 of the same server

for this, should i create BP in mass option through DSWP>EDIT>Create Business Partner.

or in the existing BP of client 300, should i add in the identification tab.

If i create again with mass option through DSWP>EDIT>Create Business Partner, what will happen to existing BPs.

will the user may have 2 BP ids.

Pl guide me.

Hey,

SAP business Partner forms a part of Master data in CRM....

Now if you have created BP's in client 300, they wont be there in client 330..

Now if u login in to client 330 and use DSWP and say Create Mass business partner download, then existing Business( of client 300 ) will not be overwritten,,,,,,

will it not be duplicacy in BP

a same user will have 2 BP

how to identify when we r selecting with the help of f4

in any transactions such as service messages,

Hey SAPuser,

As i told you that BP is master data which means its client dependant.....

When you logon to server at client 300, the business partner you see and its identification tab will be unique to client 300....

When you logon to server at clint 330, the business partner you see and its idenfication tab wil be unique to cleint 330...

A BP created is one client is no way related to the business partner created in other client....

There is no duplicacy.... There are independant BP with Different for sometimes same BP nos....
