Install JAVA Trial and ABAP Trial in the same machine

Hello,

I have a laptop where I installed SAP NW JAVA Trial and now I want to install ABAP Trial. Is it possible?

Trying to install first ABAP trial and the JAVA trial, I had a problem in the DB installation for the JAVA trial. So I think I will get the same issue this time...

Is there any way to make both installations live together?

I am installing on a Windows XP SP2 platform.

Hi Alberto,

although I do not know, some hints:

1) There was another thread discussing a similar question ([Can you install BW using only trial versions of ABAP and Java|😉 , maybe that helps.

2) In case you want a dual-installation, ABAP has to be installed first.

hello

1st SAP is Server base Application try to installetd on win server

u want to installed ABAP and JAVA stack

at the time of installtion u have to select both option for ABAP and JAVA stack

Give JAVA Export media at the time of installation

ur installation will be successfully

Finally, I had to use 2 computers, one for the ABAP version, and another one for the JAVA version.

Thanks Boris. Although the post you say is about BI + ABAP Trial, it says somewhere that both installations (ABAP Trial and JAVA Trial) are not to be together...

Is anybody sure about it? Or is there any way to do it?

I recently installed both system in my local machine. There were no particular problem.

If you have trouble with DB install, just turn off the MAXDB during JAVA installation.
