tab strip

i have tabstrip with 3 tabs in 1st view and also ihave 3 views when i click on 1st tab 1st view should be displayed similarly 2nd and 3rd can u explain me this

Create three tabs and place view contrainer Ui each tabs

embed your views to this.

1.when ever i deploy i able to see only 1 tab instead of 3 tabs 2.by default second tab is looking darker than other tabs.

can u tell solution for above problems

Hi Ayyapparaj,

I have created three tabs in my first view say Test1 and then I have placed View container UI in each tab and then embed these View UI containers with the Views.

After that I ahev deployed my application, then I am getting an exception:

com.sap.tc.webdynpro.services.exceptions.WDRuntimeException

Could you please tell me where I have gone wrong.

Hi kishore,

You can do the following steps.

1. create 3 views seperately

2.open ur Navigation modeler(window-><your view>right click)

3. create a view set.select view set name from dropdown "Tabstrip" .

4. go to the view set properties and set the tab count is 3 .

5. using Embed view placing the corresponding view into the tabstrip and also u give into tab caption name properly.

Hi kishore,

i) Go to the viewset(your tabstrip). choose Embed View option.

ii)choosing the embed Existing option view then select your view name.

iii) go to properties>tab caption name> given <your view name> or <ur own name>..

that's it..
