crm xif creating rfc destination

Hi All,

I am going through the documentation of FM CRMXIF_PARTNER_SAVE.

I am stuck at the following point:

1. Create a suitable RFC destination in the SAP IMG Define Target Systems for RFC Calls (for example,a TCP/IP connection to the Business Connector).

My requirement is as follows:

I have to integrate the CRM SAP and salesforce for real time synchronisation of Business Partner data.

How to create an RFC destination ?

I am absolutely new to this.

U have to create RFC destination using tcode sm59 at the R3 system.

The RFC destination should be of type tcp/ip. U ll have to provide a program id name there which can be any arbitary string. This may help

Are u using business connector as middleware? Other choice is of course XI. The rfc destination procedure ll remain same for XI

if yes then what attributes of salesforce do we have to write?

Hi,

If i want to establish an http connection then what do i have to write in technical settings?

I have to write the target host as XI or salesforce?

Hi Shilpi,

If ur creating RFC Destination of Type HTTP to R3 in ur XI server then target host will be salesforce.

I m creating an http connection from crm sap 5.2.

Http connection is for soap/xml messages right?

So should the target host be XI or salesforce?

If it is XI then routing from XI has 2 specified to salesforce?
